Earl Ellis passed away during the attacks at Pearl Harbor.
"Earl Maurice Ellis, 23, of Hope, Arkansas, was recently identified by the agency. He was aboard the USS Oklahoma on Dec. 7, 1941, when it was attacked while moored in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Services will be held at Ocean View Cemetery on July 15, 2021.
