Obituary
Mary McMahon was born on November 12, 1937, in Ft. Bragg, CA, and passed away on September 1, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Peggy Berrettini, Colleen Roy, Mariah Beccaria, and brother Tom McMahon.
Mary's early years were spent on the family's property in Juan Creek, located between Rockport & Westport in Mendocino County where the family ran a store, bar, and guest cabins while the kids enjoyed the property & beach. Upon her father's death at a very early age, Mary moved to San Francisco to live with her sister & brother in law, Colleen & Joe Roy, to attend high school & nursing school. Following graduation, she worked as a nurse in hospitals in San Francisco and Santa Monica, and later in medical offices in San Francisco & Eureka.
Mary was a talented artist who painted many beautiful pictures. She also loved to study nature.
A small family gathering will be held on Sunday, September 24th in Juan Creek.
