Obituary
Sandra Kay Loyd Bean, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Sandy was born in Spokane, Washington to Dale and Lavonne Loyd. Sandy loved her Lord and Savior most of all but also cherished her family and many friends.
Sandy earned an associate's degree in early childhood education from the College of the Redwoods. She worked for a time in this field and also as an independent living assistant. Sandy had the good fortune to travel to many states, Mexico on mission trips, and Spain with Youth With a Mission. She recalled these trips fondly.
More recently, Sandy had moved to Silvercrest where a welcoming, ready-made social group delighted her. These friendships enhanced Sandy's already wide and loving social circle.
Sandy was preceded in death by her mother Lavonne Loyd.
Sandy is survived by her father Dale Loyd (Tina), her sister Cinde Fenocchio (Mark), and her nephew Scott.
We believed we had many more years to enjoy together but it was not to be. Sandy will be missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on July 18, 2:00 p.m. at Eureka First Baptist Church, 422 Del Norte St, Eureka, CA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Teen Challenge.
